Cannot find the icon "Configure album authority"
I just bought QNAP TS-109 Pro and I am trying the Multimedia Station right now. But up to this moment, I still cannot find those icons for configuring the MultiMedia Station.
What I did:
0) I access TS-109 Pro with Web Access
1) With Web File Manager, I uploaded a photo under Qmultimedia folder. I also created a folder 'Testing' under Qmultimedia and uploaded another photo in 'Testing' folder.
2) I visit Multimedia Station and the login is Guest at this moment. I can only see Qmultimedia folder shown on the left column (I think that it is because of authority.
3) I click on the Login icon on the top right corner to login as Admin. Then the page also shows Admin. Now, 'Qmultimedia' and 'Testing' folders are shown on the left column, but there is no the TOOL bar with icon "Configure Album Authority". Even I select folder on the left column, there is no HELP.
Questions:
a) What is wrong ?
b) How can it show the TOOL BAR for my configuration ?

I´ve the same problem
Hi,
I`ve the same problem. Using ist with IE7 and Opera under Windows XP an Vista HomeProf.
When opening the Multimedia Station with IE7 I`m asked, if the script should be stopped because it is slowing down Internet Performance.
Greetings
Markus

I 've found a workarround...
In fact, the problem is that the Guest access is disabled !
Even if the Admin part it seems to be enabled...
To activate it, via the web browser, go to Multimedia Station, Login into it with the little > in top right.
Enter admin & password
After you enter the Qmultimedia web part.
Clic on the toolbox
and activate Guest Login...
Now you will see your folder !
Wish it helps you !
I guess it's a bug in the firmware, in the management part, the guest is not activated even if the access right line is set to read only or full access !
Could somebody from Qnap check this please ?
Thanks !

You have no icons displayed ? Like a Hammer and a adjustable spanner ?SkyEagle888 wrote:According to your provided steps of work-around, where can I find ToolBox ?
According to my provided screen-shot, it seems that there is no Toolbox bar on the screen.
Please check. Thanks
IS it last version of firmware ?

I use the TS-109 Pro (1.1.1 Build o831T ) and have the identical problems.
As admin I had a lot of icons only when the multimedia station was empty. Now I see no icons.
I have tested this with different browsers and PC’s and got always the identical reaction.
In the error log of Firefox were a lot of warnings.
Warnung: Selektor erwartet. Regelsatz wegen ungültigem Selektor ignoriert.
Quelldatei: http://192.168.1.99:8080/Qmultimedia/nas.css
Zeile: 1
Warnung: Fehler beim Verarbeiten des Wertes für Eigenschaft 'cursor'. Deklaration ignoriert.

Could I help to fix the problem?
