TS-109 USB media card reader support

Post by eskild »

Hello,

It'd be lovely if I could attach my multi-format media card reader to the TS-109, press the "Copy" button and have it transfer my images to the harddisk. As it is, I have to use my computer for copying over to the NAS, which doesn't seem necessary.

Regards,

/eskild.

Thanks iamderek,

We'll look into the possibility of verifying media card readers.

I've got a few:

* One is a no-name HiSpeed USB 2.0 from China, which identifies itself as a "Winter Ver1.3" from "Carry Computer Eng., Co., Ltd".

* The next is a Lexar JumpShot (http://www.lexar.com)

* The third is a SanDisk Extreme for HiSpeed USB 2.0 (http://www.sandisk.com)

Just as a point of reference, all devices are fully usable with SuSE Linux 10.2, so maybe you can find some inspiration for support there.

I know this might sound crazy, but I think I've tried it with my some no-name card reader and it worked :-)

I could also access the cards.
