Process "gpiod"?

Post by Kvarnen »

Hello guys.

I got a warning from my TS-109 that said:

Server Name: QNAP
IP Address: #masked#
Date/Time: 09/13/2007 06:52:14
Level: Warning
Re-launch process [gpiod].

What does the gpiod process (daemon) do?

Regards
/ Kvarnen

I assume gpiod reads the network trafic an let the LAN-led flash.

The gpiod daemon handled peripheral hardware, for example, reset button.
When you get the message "Re-launch process [xxx]", it means the process is in abnormal status, and system monitor re-launch it.
I am Kent. Nice to meet you!
