Printserver with QNAP TS-209

Post by ronbakker »

I've got a Deskjet 970CXI connected to the printserver.
Almost every day I've got to restart the QNAP system because the printer isn't working. The mappings to the fileserver are still connected.
When I try to connect with IE on ip-adres, I've got the following message:

There was an unusual problem serving the requested URL
'/indexnas.cgi?counter = 1192057176'

I'm now trying to install the new firmware 1.1.2 build 1009. But I saw no report of fixed printserver problems in the release notes.

Hi there,

Could you check if the printer is detected by NAS successfully? You can go to the USB Printer page and see if the printer details are shown. Normally if the details are not shown, the printer's not supported. If the printer details are shown but the printer's not working, pls contact our technical support.
