I place a second vote for IP filtering !

ipfilter.dat, PeerGuardian, etc

Would be a helpful addition.

Me too.

This would be a very nice feature.

Another vote for mass IP filtering, this feature would be a very nice addition to my TS-109!

Yes i've got a TS-101 and a sort of ipfilter would be very appreciated.
consider that very often bad ip causes error on files downloaded and the need to download more than 100%.

Here is another vote for this.

I would like to see the functionality of Peerguardian or Protowall (or both).

Qnap support: Any update on this feature?

Thanks.

Another vote for that feature.

In the same kind of idea, firewalling support would be great (and easy to add) - just put the iptables modules built-in (which would mean peer guardian support anyway)

Hello friends at Qnap. Can you update the community as to where this feature is on your priority list/timeline?

Many thanks.

PeerGuardian is Windows-only, but MoBlock works for Linux

I vote for the ip-blocking feature as well. This is the only thing that keeps me from being able to use the Torrent feature of my Qnap TS-209 Pro.

I'd definitely love this!

TS-109 already has IP filtering, but only on individual addresses, so I can't see that it would be that hard to implement a IP blocklist feature (?)

I'd also like a folder monitoring function for BT downloads (i.e. as soon as you download a .torrent into a certain folder, the BT client detects it and starts downloading). But I'll post this as a separate topic...
1. Model name: TS-109
2. Firmware version: 2.0 beta
3. Operation System (OS): Windows Vista
4. OS Language: English
5. Number of HDDs: 1
6. HDD model: Samsung HD501LJ T166
7. HDD capacity: 500GB
8. RAID configuration: N/A
9. Services enabled: MS Networking, Multimedia Station, Multimedia Server, Download Station
10. External devices: None
11. NAS connection speed/ MTU: 100 Mbps, MTU: 1500 Bytes
