Best format

Post by Robbee »

Hi,

As being new to this NAS i have a qusetion :

Currently I have an USB disk containing Bluray movies in the AVCHD format. They play perfect on my PS3, including selectable subs, selactable audio track and chapters.

Thes movies I want to transfer to the Nas and stream them to the PS3.
So I need to convert them so Twonky can stream them.
What format is best for this ? No problem if the subs are going to be hardcoded and there is just 1 audiotrack.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Robbee,
Have you already tried to stream AVCHD movies to your PS3 via Twonky?
As far as I know, it should be no problem for Twonky to stream AVCHD movies to PS3.

You mean browse to the stream map in the bluray structure and play the *.m2ts ?
I've tried that and it does play, but no subs and with some movies no sound.

Thanks for the reply anyway :D
