How are you..

Post by jimarsul »

connecting your Xbox360 or PS3 to the network? I am using home plug HD and am having hesitations during streaming of DVD's. Any suggestions on improving quality over the network?, Would wireless be faster than the 40-50 Mbps i am showing now or do i really need to hardwire with 5e or 6 to get what is needed for QOS?

Thanx in advance
Jim

Dear Jim
Can you try the latest firmware to see if it can improve the the transmission quality?

For your concern, if the video quality is not up to HD, the normal connection should be enough for you. (I'm using wireless 11g for my home network)

Cheers
