The SSH connection should be default enable but could you please check it again?
Also what kind of ssh client software you are using?
Could you connect to the administration page?
If you enable the telnet connection, could you connect to it?
If you could provide more detail in your environment and your procedure, I am sure there will be some expert here helping you.
Currently, lack of the information is really difficult to assist.
Cheers~

Ok, here's what I've done 'til now:
SSH connection disabled and re-enabled --> no difference.
I'm using the latest stable putty build on my Windows XP SP2 with firewall disabled.
I do can connect to the admin page.
Telnet isn't tested, I'll check that later.
I got a TS-209 1.1.2 NAS with 9KB Jumbo Frames over Gigabit.

Hi, How's the status now for the telnet connection?
If you could connect to the administration page, should be alright to connect with SSH.
Are you establishing the connection in LAN?
If still have trouble, please PM me again I will tell you how to assist you trouble shooting.

Hi Sir
Could you please write your situation to support@qnap.com?
I had inform my colleague this issue and they will help you directly.
It seems really strange.
