Would be nice to be able to schedule the QNAP powering up and powering down.
I run mine 24 x 7 but there is actually nobody accessing it for the 8 hours while we are sleeping. I leave it on becos I am afraid I forget to turn it on the morning for my wife to access the printer
Alternatively, a schedule power off and a wake on lan would be good too

At least you can halt the system :
Access via ssh and type halt -d xxxx (xxxx = time not sure of unit)
but then you must remember to switch it back on (wake on lan??)
