Remove one HD from TS209

Post by cfo_work »

Dear All,
I'm using TS209 and the system seem healthy.
Currently setting is RAID 1( mirror).

If I remove one HD (say hd0) in offline mode, then
switch on.

1) is the system still working?

2) if I delete some files from hd1(remaining one)->
switch off power->plug in hd0->switch on system, then
what effect that:
hd0 syn. to hd1
or hd1 syn. to hd0 ?

3) if the data in hd0 is more important, should I swap the HD from the bay?

1. Yes, it is working
2. hd1 sync to hd0
3. If the data is important, then I suggest you don't plug-in/plug-out HDD...
I am Kent. Nice to meet you!
