I am looking at the TS-109 vs DS-107+ for my next purchase and I have the following questions:
I would like to know if your photo server also plays video clip (like the Synology x07 series)? If not is it in the planning stages?
Is the native file format you are using standard? If something happens to the unit, can I simply take the hard drive and put in in a USB case and read the file using a PC (with an ext3 driver)?
Can a USB hub be attached to the drive to increase the number of USB drive conection?
What is the maximum size of a USB external drive?
Thanks for any insight.
PS: I like the fact you can use Telnet to connect to the NAS.
