Greetings fellow QNAPers!
I bought my TS-109 based on various reviews that pointed to the QNAP range of NAS as well conceived, of high performance and well priced. I was also pleased to see an active support forum with helpful participation by QNAP support staff.
On installation I was pleased to find my initial hopes for a low-power consumption, quiet, space efficient NAS with many useful features for managing and sharing various media on the LAN and out over WAN well rewarded.
But while I have found that the advertised functionality largely works without serious issues, I have also found that some features appear in need of fine tuning and/or fleshing out for ideal functionality. I therefore look forward to ongoing firmware development that will see these devices meet this potential, and QNAP's ongoing success as a result.
Since this is a place for introductions, I will post with specifics into the appropriate forum sections, and look forward with working with you all.
Cheers!
Greetings from Queensland, Australia!

It's nice to know you feel such enthusiasmQNAPRon wrote:Hi Mate
I love Australia so that's why I handle the Australia market (and some other places).
There's no doubt forums like this provide a win-win for all involved. You benefit from the feedback and we benefit from the support of yourselves and other users. Great stuff!Hope you will find answers here and enjoy it.
If you like high-rise then the Gold Coast is great. If you prefer low-rise, then Sunshine Coast is even better! If you guys are ever in the area and looking for a friendly stop-over and a home cooked meal, give us a "hoi"Love to visit Gold coast again.
