Raid Group 2 is inactive

Post by russellupdike »

So, I wasn't familiar with how to switch a drive and I think I've really messed up. I've got a TS-431. Currently the drives are as follows by bay:
1. 2TB drive
2. 1TB drive
3. 1 TB drive (previously this had a 3TB HD that failed, it since has given me problems.)
4. 750 GB drive

So, I have a Raid Group 1 setup with Bay 1 and 2 (works great, do not want to mess with it. I have a Raid Group 2 that was originally setup for the 3TB drive that failed. I don't know how to get rid of the Raid and set a new one up with the new 1 TB drive. I want to know how to do this properly so that when the 750GB drive needs to be replaced I can do it properly. I do know how to telnet into the QNAP, but am not really good with linux commands. Can someone walk me through the process.

Thanks!
